Caroling for Christmas-Day 10

This is my final carol for this year.  I can’t think of a more perfect way to end than with the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.  And no one does this better than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.  Enjoy!

Caroling for Christmas-Day 9

The song I chose for today I feel is appropriate for Christmas Eve.  How many children around the world have written letters that begin with the words, “Dear Santa…”

This song has always made me laugh, though I suspect that is because it is so REAL.  I am sure that the items that are mentioned in this song are the things that are in the hearts of the children around the world.  These are the things they hope and wish that Santa would bring them for Christmas.

I know that there is at least one item that my dear sweet little dog, Panda, would ask Santa for if she knew what Santa did.  So I will ask it for her…”Dear Santa…This is Panda from Wyoming.  I want a stick…”

Caroling for Christmas-Day 8

Ever since I was a kid, there is one song that has always made me smile.  I loved it every single time it would come on the radio.  My parents would roll their eyes, but I was in love.  Three little imaginary furry creatures had me by the heart strings.  Yes, I am talking about Alvin and the Chipmunks.  Alvin, Simon, & Theodore made me smile.  They made me want to sing.  They made me want to dance.  They made me want a hula hoop to practice my mad hula hoop skills.  They still do.  Of course, those skills might be a bit frightening at my age.  But a girl can dream, right?
