I am thankful for the opportunity I currently have to further my education.  I am currently taking two classes to help me further my businesses.  These will both be great additions to my resume and help me build my portfolio.  I am thankful I was able to have the opportunity to take these classes and that I was able to fit them both into my schedule.  Things will be a little hectic over the next couple of months.  But they will slow down a bit in May.  I am thankful for the challenge.  And I am thankful that God made all of this possible for me.

What are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful that we are going to go get our Explorer out of the shop…finally!  It has been a really long time since we have had it around.  We blew the transmission out of it last summer.  It has been sitting at the transmission place all fall and most of the winter until we could afford to pay for it.  The place did the work and actually had it all complete a couple of months ago.  But we had made arrangements to wait until sometime around now to pay for it and pick it up.  We put a small deposit on it last October.  We finally have the funds to go pick it up.  This makes me happy.  It will be nice to have our vehicle back.

What are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for girl time.  Since I live in a house driven and ruled by testosterone, it is nice to get to be a girl at times.  Yesterday I went to a Mary Kay party.  My mom went with me and we had a good time just hanging out with the girls.  I picked up a few new items for myself and learned a couple of new things as well.  It was nice to just be with the girls, doing girly things.  It’s been ages since I did that.  It was good.
