Caroling for Christmas-Day 8

Ever since I was a kid, there is one song that has always made me smile.  I loved it every single time it would come on the radio.  My parents would roll their eyes, but I was in love.  Three little imaginary furry creatures had me by the heart strings.  Yes, I am talking about Alvin and the Chipmunks.  Alvin, Simon, & Theodore made me smile.  They made me want to sing.  They made me want to dance.  They made me want a hula hoop to practice my mad hula hoop skills.  They still do.  Of course, those skills might be a bit frightening at my age.  But a girl can dream, right?

Caroling for Christmas-Day 7

Today I want to share another favorite Christmas song of mine.  I love the song, “Mary Did You Know?”  I often like to ponder and think of how Mary must have felt to be the mother of the Son of God.  I wonder how well she understood at the beginning and then how her understanding must have grown as she watched our Savior grow up.  How well did she understand as He gave his life for us so that we may return to our Heavenly Father again someday?  I imagine she knew at first that He was special and a miracle.  But did she fully grasp what He would do for us?  Did she really know?

Caroling for Christmas-Day 6

I have been having so much fun Caroling for Christmas!  I hope that you are enjoying it as well.  Since I can’t come to your house and sing for you, this is the next best thing.

Today I chose a version of “O Come, Emmanuel” by The Piano Guys.  These guys are just so awesome and talented!  It is super fun to listen and to watch them.  They make me want to play the piano more and to learn to play the cello, so I can do cool stuff like they do.  Enjoy!
