First Mate Penny

Penny is serving her 3rd year on the TOS Crew.  Penny has been married to her sweetheart for the past 24 years.  She is the mother of 3 children and has been homeschooling her daughter with Autism since January 2008.  Penny spends the majority of her days providing Autism Intervention through Charlotte Mason methods.  She is also known as the Epsom Salt Queen on the crew, as she knows just about every use for them and is always happy to share her knowledge with others.  We love and adore Penny.  You can find Penny at Homeschooling, Autism, & “Stuff”.

First Mate Lis

Lis is serving her 3rd year on the TOS Crew.  She has been married to her sweetie for over 20 years and is the mother to 3 children.   She has also been serving as the leader of her local support group for the past 5 years.   Lis has homeschooled her children from the beginning using Five in a Row with lots of eclectic things thrown in for good measure.  We love Lis and her cheerful willingness to do whatever is needed.  You can find Lis at Acorns-Or Homeschooling Nuggets of Gold.

Heidi is serving her 3rd year on the TOS Crew.  She has been married to her sweetie for almost 16 years and is the mother of 2 darling children.   She has been homeschooling her children for 9 years.  Heidi sees herself as “definitely eclectic, taking a little of this and a little of that to fit our needs.”  What are Heidi’s thoughts about their homeschooling experience?   “It isn’t easy,” says Heidi, “but I believe that homeschooling is absolutely the best thing for our family.”  You can find Heidi at Chatter, Clatter, and Things That Matter.
