I simply adore these planners. We have been using a printout form of my lesson plans from a software we use to keep track of all of our homeschool things. But I’ve been printing about 3-4 sheets every single week. Though it is great because my son can work independently now, we are just using so much paper and toner this year. We had tried another popular planner, but he just wasn’t a big fan of it. These planners, he actually likes quite well and we plan to use the student one this next school year and the teen planner the following year. He likes the information in the back of the student planner and loves the format of the teen planner. The SAT vocabulary words in the teen planner are a bonus that makes us both smile.
Now, on to the Mom planner. This is the planner that seriously rocks my world. I am a bit of a planner junkie and have tried just about everything out there. I have been disappointed in just about everything as nothing has done everything I have wanted it to do. I have even tried creating my own planners and still wasn’t happy. What can I say? I just want MORE because my life doesn’t fit in a neat little box, no matter how much I would like it to. THIS planner however, it is just about perfect. It is almost like Debra Bell read my mind. Seriously.
We only have two more years to homeschool here in our home. But I seriously am considering making sure I continue to purchase this planner for ME. Why??? Well, it is because I am using my planner as more of a LIFE planner. Sure, I can keep track of our homeschool stuff now. But I really am using it to track my blog, my businesses, my church responsibilities, my community responsibilities, and my home. My friend Heidi posted about this as well and since she has much nicer handwriting than I do, I am going to refer you to her post to see what we are both doing. Seriously, this planner rocks.
I do have just a couple of small items I wish were different. I mean, these are definitely LIVEABLE. But it would be so much nicer if the monthly planning pages were placed all throughout the planner. I’d like the weekly pages after the monthly one. And then divider tabs would be nice. But other than that, really, you need to check this planner out. You’ll be glad you did and you can thank me later.
