VeggieTales-The Little House That Stood
About the Movie:
When the Three Little Pigs roll into Cabbageville looking to build some new houses, they meet one builder with a plan and two without a clue! Larry builds with hay, Mr. Lunt with bricks, but only Bob builds his houses on a firm foundation – following the wise plans from the Master Builder’s Handbook! Will the Little Piggies make the right choices when it comes to building their houses – and their lives – on solid ground? Find out in this parable that shows kids when they follow God’s blueprints, then can stand strong when the storms come!
Brenda Says:
We watched this video together as a family and there were several giggles as we watched the antics of Larry and Bob. We love VeggieTales here in our home, and this new video was no disappointment. We loved the combination of parables and nursery rhymes. Though we thoroughly enjoyed watching The Little House That Stood, I think our favorite was the bonus episode, The Good Egg of Gooseville. This was the retelling of Humpty Dumpty in only the way that VeggieTales can do it. We didn’t just giggle through that section. We laughed out loud. It was a very enjoyable time and 48 minutes of time well spent.
