Math Mammoth is one of our favorite math programs that we have used in our homeschool. I was introduced to it about three years ago and it was truly a blessing in our homeschool. I continued to use it even last year in 8th grade to fill in blank spots and correct issues that Chandler had with mathematics. I have found it to be wonderful as either a full program or as a supplement to any other math program.
I wrote a review of Math Mammoth in 2009, that you can read here. I also mentioned it as one of our favorite programs in my entry for the Virtual Curriculum Fair earlier this week.

The grade-levels mentioned are recommendations only. The books themselves do not mention any grade levels and are usually usable across several grade levels.
Addition and subtraction books
Addition 1 – grade 1. Addition within 0-10, missing addend, word problems. $3.75.

Introduction to Fractions – grades 1-3. This book relies almost completely on visual fraction models, and does not go into the most difficult fraction operations such as adding unlike fractions or division. $4.00
Fractions 1 – grades 4-5. About half of the important fraction topics, explained with the help of visual models. That’s how everyone should study fractions! $4.50
Fractions 2 – grades 5-6. The second half of fraction topics. $5.00
Decimals 1 – grades 4-5. Builds a solid foundation to understand decimal numbers of 1-2 decimal digits and some of the operations with them. $4.25

FAQ
Is the Blue series a complete curriculum?
It is complete in its coverage of topics for grades 1-6, or actually up to pre-algebra.
Please keep in mind that several of the books in the Blue Series cover material for several grade levels in one book. It is NOT organized exactly by grade levels.
Do all the workbooks come with answer keys?
Yes. All of the Blue Series books have answers appended in the worktext.

I like that the series covers some topics that aren’t fully covered in our normal curriculum. I’d use it to fill in the gaps.
I love that it’s all in segments, so that she was able to put together a Canadian Money, UK Money and all that jazz for those of us who don’t happen to live Stateside. That’s something that is challenging in bigger texts.

I would love to win this. It was such a blessing for Liam (we’ve been buying the light blue series for him since we reviewed it) and I am sure that it would help his little sister (who struggles with all things learning but is still young…though I won’t be able to say that forever).
I love the mastery aspect. And that I can just pick the workbook for the skill my kiddos needs more on.
I’m excited to have the whole series, but I really want the mult and div books.
I love that she put so much thought into what students need, and parents want.
I love that it is not grade levels so that my three eldest girls–all at different levels than their “age/grade” level could be where their skills and abilities take them. I also love how we can focus on one area until their interest wanes and move on to a different area. We have most of the 1-3 but would love to have the rest. Thanks!

We need the extra help in division/multiplication and geometry. I like it that this is a resource we can just pick up and use anytime without a lot of prep or planning on my part.
I think that I’d be using both “ends” of the series – I’ve got a first grader and two middle schoolers – so many of the topics are ones we could use work in !
We love Math Mammoth too, and are working on a Light Blue set now. I think we would get the best use out of the Multiplication and Division Blue set!
I got to review Math Mammoth too and we loved it. It’s really helped math make sense to my daughter. We are still using it, well past the review period. I can see it being something we would stick to. The currency in from several countries was/is one of our favorite parts. That’s just smething that I don’t see very often, and not being in the U.S. It’s a great feature!
