Today I am thrilled to be able to share with you information on a wonderful, homeschool friendly company…Wreaths of Maine.
Wreaths of Maine is a mail order Christmas wreath company that was started in the 1990’s by a homeschooling family. Each wreath is handmade from fresh Balsam fir. They are very fragrant and beautiful. Each wreath is double faced and measures two feet across, which is perfect for standard sized doors. Each wreath also comes with its own hanger, so it is easy to get it placed where you want it.
The aromatic Christmas wreaths range in price from $37 to $47. Shipping is just $3.95 per wreath.
When your wreath arrives it will arrive in a box like this:
When I opened up my box, I was impressed with how very fragrant the wreath was and also by how soft the greenery was to the touch. We took the wreath out and let it sit for just a little while so that the branches opened up.
Once the wreath was ready to hang, we placed it on our front door. We tried out the bow in a couple of different places, until we found the way we liked it best.
I love that it will be so welcoming to the friends and family that will be entering our door this Christmas season.
One of the things I have been most impressed about by Wreaths of Maine is their fundraising program. The program is open to groups or homeschool families that would like to put forth some effort in earning commissions. The wreaths can be sold door to door or by directing customers to ordering online. They can then choose the seller ID that is provided to make sure that the group or homeschool gets credit for the sale.
The company provides the group or homeschool with a sales kit that I found to be quite impressive. They include everything that you need to sell Christmas wreaths for them. I loved the instructional sheets that they include. They offer advice on how to sell the wreaths and who to sell them to. They include safety tips for the children selling their wreaths. They also show you how to fill out their forms. I really loved how they provided an accountability for the kids by having them fill out a Sales Record, including how much they earned for each wreath sold. This is a wonderful life lesson that is included, one that I want my own child to partake in next year.

Disclosure: I was provided with a Christmas wreath and fundraising kit in the hopes that I would share about it on my blog. All opinions are my own and a positive review was not required.
