Wow! I am so thrilled to see so many participants in this challenge. I am truly humbled by all of the wonderful blessings you have each mentioned on Day 1. I visited every single person’s blog and left a comment where I was able. I was so deeply blessed to read about the things you are thankful for in your own lives. Thank you so much for sharing!
Today, I am grateful that I live in a country where I can still have the freedom to vote. What a precious freedom that is and I think that I sometimes take it for granted. I love that I can take a few moments and let my voice be heard. I once had a boss that didn’t think it was important. It made me sad for her. I am filled with pride when I am able to cast my ballot. I am grateful that I have that privilege.
Thanks to those who have defended my right to have the freedom to vote. I am humbled by your sacrifices. I pray for your continued safety and mourn those we have lost while fighting for our freedoms. Thank you.
What are you thankful for today?

We are so very lucky to live in this country.
Brenda, you are right! We are up earlier this morning than usual so we can go vote. It is a freedom I am thankful for, too.
We are very blessed to live in the U.S. At its worse, it is still far better than living somewhere else. Over the years, I’ve seen so many changes, a lot of which I haven’t been thrilled about. But we are still a young country compared to many….maybe this is just our “teenage years.” Praying for our country. May we mature into the country God desires us to be, that He be glorified.
Brenda, thank you for coming by and commenting. And thanks for hosting this meme! What a wonderful month to focus on gratitude!
I will try to get around to visit everyone. We have company…they leave tomorrow evening. Please be patient with me for a day or two.
Blessings,
Cheryl
This is what I was thinking as I typed my entry late last night. This is a great nation, and we are blessed and lucky to live here. God bless America.
Thanks again for this challenge.
I too consider it a privilege to vote. I have even seen it make a difference. Last year 2 votes blocked a measure in our county. I was so glad I had voted!
Amen! Very well said. I voted after my swim class this morning and prayed for the elections today.
Wonderful thing to be thankful for! I am a proud American! When I think of those that went before me to secure my right to vote, it becomes all the more important that I do my duty as an American! Have a great day!
Great post! It is a privilege to live in this country. As an American citizen, it is an honor to be able to vote and an honor I take seriously.
What a wonderful thing to be thankful for. I didn’t even think about this as I was writing my post this morning, but I am very grateful for this also!!!
I too was thinking about freedom today. We are blessed to have so many freedoms. It’s something that I do not want to take for granted.
I agree this is such an awesome experience and it’s so neat to read the other things people are thankful for! I also am thankful for freedom today
I totally agree (and had this on my mind for my post tomorrow!)
I am so glad you are hosting this challenge. You are a blessing to so many of us, even if we fail to say it often enough.
I joined with you today but it seems I have really messed up your Day 1 thumbnails. At fist nothing showed up so I did it again, then there were two. When I tried to post a thumbnail link here(Day 2). I ended up doing iton Day 1, for a third time. I am sorry I know you worked hard on this project, I hope I haven’t messed anything up.
You make me want to sing the National Anthem…
I agree!
Well said. I,too, am grateful for these things!
