Tater Tot Casserole

This is one of those dishes that is so easy to make and really good.  I have discovered over the years that most people make this differently than we do.  So here is our version that we enjoy on occasion in our home.

1 lb. lean ground beef

2 16-oz cans green beans

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/2 soup can milk

1 package tater tots

Shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.  Brown ground beef in skillet.  Drain.   Dump green beans into a large mixing bowl.  Mix in cooked hamburger.  Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 can of milk.  Mix until everything is well coated.  Pour into lightly greased baking pan.  Spread out until even.  Top with tater tots until well covered.  Sprinkle shredded cheese on top to taste.   Cook in oven until tater tots are browned on top and casserole is warmed through.

    I’ve tried another tater tot casserole, but it took mixed veggies and Ashley hated it. Wonder if she’d like this better because she could pick out the beans?! LOL I’ll have to try it.

    That sounds yummy to me Brenda. I wonder if my family would eat it. My husband is not that keen on casseroles, but I love them. (Both how they taste and how easy they are!)
